Insolência e delicadeza. Duas palavras de significados tão distantes, mas que estão presentes na obra de Cristina Canepa, uma artista “de sensibilidade aberta e curiosa, que chega à beira da insolência em seus questionamentos”, segundo Sérgio Fingermann.
Uma sensibilidade que se manifesta em suas pinturas de grandes dimensões, que, de acordo com Ana Verônica Mautner, nos apresentam a “delicadeza do grande”. Nove dessas pinturas e mais gravuras e fotomontagens estarão, de3 de Maio a 31 de Julho, no Orotour Garden Hotel, em “Pintura- Pintura”.
Outra palavra que nos vem à mente, quando olhamos o trabalho de Cristina Canepa, é “potência”. Não se pode ficar indiferente às obras dela. “Um conjunto de trabalhos bem articulados, que mostra o domínio por parte do artista. Um trabalho consequente”, diz Fingermann.
A artista
Paulistana, Cristina Canepa tem formação em Publicidade e Propaganda, mas sua verdadeira vocação estava nas Artes Plásticas, como ela descobriria em 2003, quando iniciou um curso com Dalton de Luca. Ali, ela aprendeu a dominar todas as técnicas. Chegada a esse estágio se viu sozinha no processo, queria mais, queria saber qual a função do artista.
A partir de 2007 encontrou com outros artistas para pintar e discutir os caminhos da arte contemporânea. Acrescentou à sua formação aulas teóricas com Carlos Fajardo e aulas de gravura com Evandro Carlos Jardim.
Participou de três coletivas em 2008 e uma em 2010. Em 2014 fez sua primeira individual no Clube Atlético Paulistano e agora traz para Campos do Jordão o seu trabalho e seus questionamentos .
“Pintura, Pintura”, a Exposição em que mostra o quanto cresceu junto com sua arte em que, como ela mesma diz, “o ato de pintar se torna o próprio conteúdo da pintura”.

The artist
São Paulo, Cristina Canepa has a background in Advertising, but his true calling was in the fine arts, as she would find out in 2003, when he began a course with Dalton de Luca.
